Aponogeton longiplumulosus has large, fluted leaves, making it an attractive plant for large aquariums. It is relatively undemanding, and makes no special demands on water quality. It also flowers frequently, making it a beautiful addition to any large open aquarium.
Like most Aponogeton species, it enjoys a few weeks of dormancy, after which it will start to grow again.
