Riccia fluitans became popular when Takashi Amano started using this plant in his aquascapes. Since then, it became an aquarium favorite.

It is a very easy plant to grow and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. High lights and CO2 will make this plant grow very fast.

It can be tied to wood or stone and placed anywhere in an aquarium. It is a naturally floating plant so frequent trimming is required.
