Ranalisma rostrata is native to Malaysia and is a recent addition to the hobby.
Its leaves are bright green and it can be placed in the foreground like E.tenellus, where it will spread via runners. It never grows tall and is most suitable for small aquariums. It does demand a rich substrate as well as CO2 and bright lights to thrive.
